New Features and Pricing for the 2027 Chrysler Pacifica
“Order books for the 2027 Pacifica are already open, and first deliveries are scheduled for the summer,” a spokesperson announced, highlighting the excitement surrounding the latest iteration of Chrysler’s popular minivan.
The 2027 Chrysler Pacifica is now available for order, with a starting price of $43,490. The Pacifica LX, which replaces the 2026 Voyager, starts at $41,495, reflecting a modest increase of $100. This pricing strategy aims to attract families looking for a reliable and spacious vehicle.
Under the hood, the Pacifica is equipped with a 3.6-liter V6 engine that produces 287 horsepower and 262 lb-ft of torque. This engine is expected to deliver a balanced performance suitable for both city driving and highway cruising. Fuel economy ratings are noted at 19/28/22 (city/highway/combined), making it a competitive option in its class.
One of the standout features of the 2027 Pacifica is the retention of the Stow ‘n Go seating system, which allows the second- and third-row seats to fold flat into the floor, enhancing cargo space and versatility. Additionally, a new adjustable-height power liftgate is now standard across all trims, making loading easier for drivers of all heights.
However, the 2027 Pacifica will not include the Pacifica Hybrid, as it has been discontinued for this model year. This decision follows a broader culling of plug-in hybrid electric vehicles (PHEVs) across the Stellantis group in America. “The Pacifica Hybrid is dead,” the spokesperson confirmed, indicating a shift in the company’s focus.
The exterior of the 2027 Pacifica features a new front fascia with vertical LED headlights and an illuminated grille, giving it a modern and distinctive look. The LX model retains the Voyager aesthetics, while the Pacifica Select and higher trims adopt this new design language.
Production of the 2027 Pacifica will take place at Stellantis’ Windsor Assembly Plant in Canada, ensuring that the vehicle is manufactured with quality and precision. The Pacifica’s Safety Sphere Package has also been improved, incorporating various driver safety and convenience features to enhance the overall driving experience.
As Chrysler continues to navigate a challenging market, the introduction of the 2027 Pacifica marks a significant step forward. Details remain unconfirmed regarding any additional powertrain options, but the return of the Pentastar 3.6-liter V6 engine is anticipated. With first deliveries set for summer 2026, the automotive community is eager to see how this new model will perform in the competitive minivan segment.
