Jarren Duran shines in World Baseball Classic
“You can’t describe it. You have to be here to witness it, but it’s one of the loudest crowds I’ve been a part of,” said Jarren Duran after a thrilling game at Daikin Park, where he showcased his skills against Team USA.
Duran, representing Mexico, hit two home runs off left-handed pitcher Matthew Boyd during the match, contributing significantly despite Mexico’s 5-3 loss. This defeat marked Mexico’s first loss of pool play and their first WBC loss to the Americans in 20 years.
