Toyota RAV4 Hybride: 2026 Model Update

New Features and Pricing

“The new lineup enlarges customer choice alongside existing hybrid and battery-electric offerings,” said Robert Tsang, highlighting the enhancements in the 2026 Toyota RAV4 Hybride.

The 2026 model year introduces a new-generation powertrain and an expanded electric range, positioning the RAV4 Hybride as a more capable and better-priced plug-in option for mainstream buyers.

Notably, the 2026 Toyota RAV4 Hybride has a lower MSRP than the 2025 plug-in hybrid RAV4, with several trims seeing significant price reductions. The SE trim is now priced at $48,750, reflecting a decrease of $2,965 from the previous model.

Similarly, the XSE trim is available for $56,400, down $155 from its predecessor, while the XSE with the Technology package is priced at $59,350, a reduction of $2,595.

The GR Sport trim, which adds a sporty touch to the lineup, is priced at $57,500 before freight and preparation, making it an appealing choice for performance-oriented buyers.

Performance Enhancements

The 2026 RAV4 Hybride features a robust 2.5-litre four-cylinder engine paired with two electric motors, resulting in a net output of 324 hp, an increase of 22 hp compared to the previous model.

All versions of the RAV4 Hybride come equipped with all-wheel drive, ensuring enhanced traction and control in various driving conditions.

One of the standout features of the new model is its estimated electric-only range of 80 km, allowing drivers to enjoy longer trips on electric power alone.

The XSE Technology variant also includes a CCS1 fast-charge port, further enhancing the vehicle’s convenience for electric charging.

As Toyota continues to innovate, the 2026 RAV4 Hybride aims to meet the growing demand for hybrid and electric vehicles, offering consumers more choices in the market.
