Owner of Trucking Company Involved in Broncos Crash Charged

The owner of the Alberta trucking company involved in the fatal Humboldt Broncos bus crash has been charged.

Alberta Transportation Minister Brian Mason says Sukhinder Singh of Adesh Deol Trucking is charged with non-compliance with federal and provincial safety regulations over a six-month period.

16 people were killed and 13 were injured when a semi-trailer and the Broncos bus collided at the Armley Corner on April 6th as the team was en route to Nipawin for game 5 of the SJHL Semi-Finals.

The driver of the semi, Jaskirat Sidhu will be back in court on October 23rd in Melfort.

He faces 16 counts of dangerous operation of a motor vehicle causing death, and 13 counts of dangerous operation of a motor vehicle causing bodily harm.
