Police Investigating Armed Robbery in Saskatoon

Saskatoon Police are investigating after an armed robbery in Saskatoon this morning.

Police responded to the report of a male entering a convenience store on the 10 Block of Assiniboine Drive with a hammer.

The suspect demanded cash and cigarettes, and would then flee on foot with both.

The 36 year old male employee was not injured.

The suspect is described as an indigenous man, who was wearing a grey sweater that had a red front pocket, a red hood, and the number 18 on the chest.

He was also wearing dark jeans, was carrying a black backpack, and tried to conceal his identity with a bandana.
