The man and woman convicted of conspiring to murder each other’s spouses will get a new trial.

The Saskatchewan Court of Appeal ruled today that the judge made a couple errors that warrant a new trial for Angela Nicholson of Melfort and Wakaw’s Curtis Vey.

The two were convicted in 2016 of plotting to kill their spouses and were sentenced to 3 years in prison.

Both were out on bail while their appeal was heard.

The Crown can choose to re-try the two or not proceed further.
