Humboldt Native Signs in AHL

A Humboldt native has signed a contract in the American Hockey League.

Reid Gardiner has inked a deal with the Utica Comets.

Gardiner spent last season with the Wheeling Nailers in the ECHL, along with a handful of games with the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins in the AHL where he played 23 games the season before as well.

The 22 year old played 290 WHL games with the Prince Albert Raiders and Kelowna Rockets tallying 257 points.
