Another grant in the Northeast through Federated Co-Ops Community Spaces program.

60 thousand dollars has been donated to the Tisdale and District Museum to construct a workshop that will be branded as a Co-Op service station.

Museum President Cal Farough says “Number one, it is going to add to our village as one of the unique buildings for display. Number two, it is going to give the opportunity for volunteers to work year round on restoring and repairing antique items which we already have on the property.”

He says they hope to start construction in a couple of weeks, and they hope to get the project done within 2 years.

Beeland Co-Op General Manager says “Every project is important to small towns, this one is no different. It’s great that we’ve had numerous in the area, this is the 2nd in Tisdale in three years, so we’re very excited for the Museum to get this project up and running.”
