Canada Sits Alone in First Place in Pool B

Canada is now 4-0 at the World Junior Men’s Softball Championships in Prince Albert

The hosts took down powerhouse New Zealand on Tuesday night by a score of 8-5.

The win vaults Canada to first place in Pool A while New Zealand is second at 3-1.

Other winners on Tuesday were; Australia, United States, Japan, Czech Republic, and Argentina.

Australia and Japan are tied for first place in Pool B with 4-0 records.

Canada is off on Wednesday as only four games are on tap.

Japan will take on India for Indias first game of the day, Australia will meet South Africa, India will be back at it against Denmark, and the Mexico will take on Argentina in the 8 p.m. game.

Canada is back in action on Thursday against Hong Kong.
