RCMP Arrest One Suspect, Continue to Look for Another in Connection to Shelbrook Robbery

One man has been arrested and RCMP are looking for another in connection a robbery in Shellbrook on April 27th.

29 year old Matthew Lafond was arrested without incident this afternoon.

He faces eight charges in total including robbery with a firearm, and multiple firearms related offences.

Lafond will be in court tomorrow.

Shellbrook RCMP continue to look for 29 year old Keith Stonechild who faces the same charges as Lafond.

RCMP say the two entered the business just before midnight with firearms, and demanded money.
