Another weekend of heavy hearts, as several members of the Humboldt Broncos family were laid to rest.

A memorial service for team captain Logan Schatz was held in his hometown of Allan yesterday, where the seats at the curling rink and the overflow seating above the ice surface was full.

A celebration of life was also held yesterday in Stony Plain, Alberta for 18 year old goaltender Parker Tobin.

Head Coach Darcy Haugan, Logan Boulet, and statistician Brody Hinz were all laid to rest on Saturday.

Today, a service will be held for Evan Thomas, starting at 1 o’clock at SaskTel Centre in Saskatoon.

Sixteen people were killed in the bus crash north of Tisdale April 6th.

Meanwhile, the GoFundMe page set up for the Broncos players and families affected by the crash has now raised over 11.6 million dollars.
