Two Melfort men have been hit with over 10 thousand dollars in fines after pleading guilty to wildlife act charges.
Nathan Cherkowski and Wyatt Martin, both 21 years old, have pleaded guilty to the unlawful possession of white-tailed deer, and unlawful hunting.
Cherkowski was fined 56 hundred dollars and Martin received 49 hundred dollars in fines, and both men have received a one year hunting and trapping suspension.
Two other Melfort residents paid a total of 500 dollars in fines for unlawfully allowing a license to be used by another person, and also received a one year hunting and trapping suspension.
