Hawks Tie Things Up With Bruins in Canalta Cup Final

Things are all tied up in the SJHL’s Canalta Cup Final.

After a 5-2 loss on Saturday to the Estevan Bruins, the Nipawin Hawks responded with a 4-1 win on home ice.

Adam Beckman and Logan Casavant each had 2 goals while Josh McDougall and Brandan Arnold each notched a a pair of assists.

Both teams had numerous powerplays, but couldn’t score on any of them, but the Hawks did manage a shorthanded goal in the first period.

Declan Hobbs stopped 23 of 24 shots in the win.
