The Nipawin Hawks travelled South on Friday night to pay their last visit the Millionaires.
Nipawin was able to get on the board quick with Austin Mikesch continuing his roll.
The score would stay 1-0 for most of the game as Declan Hobbs was playing well between the pipes for the Hawks.
There were also plenty of penalties to be had with a total of 94 penalty minutes being handed out in the game.
The Millionaires would respond at the 2:45 mark of the third period on a questionable goal from Cory Schillo after a scrum in front.
The referees conferred, and decided to award the goal.
The score would be tied for about 13 minutes until the Hawks would grab the lead back.
Josh McDougall would get credit for the goal to give the Hawks the 2-1 lead which would ultimately end up being the final.
With the win, Nipawin has not lost in regulation since November 10th (20 straight games).
Other winners on Friday were; Melfort, Notre Dame, Humboldt, and Battlefords.
Both Nipawin and Melfort are back in action on Saturday at home.
