Serious Injuries and One Death in Saskatoon Pedestrian vs Vehicle Crashes

Saskatoon Police responded to three pedestrian/vehicle crashed over the weekend leading to serious injuries and one death.

Just before 6pm on Friday night, an 89 year-old woman was killed when she was struck by a vehicle on Preston Avenue.

Police have not yet laid any charges against the 71 year-old man driving the vehicle.

A man suffered life threatening injuries about an hour later at 22nd street and Avenue W.

The 16 year old girl driver is not facing charges.

A 22 year-old man was sent to hospital with serious injuries as well on Saturday after he was hit by a vehicle being driven by a 37 year-old man at 22nd Street and Avenue V.
