Provincial Girls and Regional Boys Volleyball set for this Weekend

Girls provincial volleyball and boys regional volleyball have been determined for area teams.

5A girls will converge here in Melfort over the weekend with Melfort and Prince Albert vying for the provincial championship.

Nipawin is competing in the 4A girls provincials in Yorkton.

3A girls are in Carlyle with Foam Lake, Wakaw, Watrous and Wynyard all getting through to the provincial tournament.

Davidson is hosting Muenster, Raymore, and Birch Hills in 2A play.

Engelfeld and Annaheim will be in Fox Valley for 1A girls volleyball.

There are ten boys volleyball teams in the area that will be playing at the regional level.

4A boys east regionals will be hosted by Tisdale with Tisdale and Melfort in contention for a provincial spot. Humboldt Collegiate will host the west regionals.

Birch Hills will be home to four 3A boys volleyball teams from the region. Birch Hills, St. Brieux, Colonsay, and Meath Park are set to play.

Kinistino will play in Glaslyn for the 2A boys title.

Annaheim, Englefeld, and Middle Lake are competing in 1A boys in Middle Lake.

The L.P Miller Bears claimed the 4A girls regional championship and will be in Yorkton this weekend hoping for a provincial title.
