Three More Males Charged in Connection to April Homicide

Three more males have been charged in connection to a Regina homicide in April.

34 year old Christopher Brass and 25 year old Malcolm Mitchell were arrested by Regina Police on Wednesday and are both charged with First Degree murder and will appear in court via video today.

Both were arrested in May in Winnipeg for a number of violent offenses and were also charged in connection with 2 homicides in that city.

The third suspect, 31 year old Jonathon Kakewash is also charged with first degree murder and now has a Canada wide warrant has been obtained for his arrest.

All three are from Winnipeg and the investigation by Regina Police led them to Manitoba after the first suspect 51 year old Edward Genaille was arrested and charged.

The incident occurred on April 29th when police responded to a report of an injured male on the 700 block of Garnet Street where they located the deceased man.
