Flames Swept By Ducks

The Calgary Flames playoff run is over.

They lost 3-1 to Anaheim at home, as the Ducks swept the Flames in four straight.

The Ducks scored two goals on their first five shots of the game en route to a Game 4 victory.

Patrick Eaves, Nate Thompson and Ryan Getzlaf scored for Anaheim, as they will play either the Edmonton Oilers or San Jose Sharks in the second round.

–Bobby Ryan scored the lone goal of the game, and Craig Anderson made 22 saves as Ottawa beat the Bruins 1-0 in Boston to take a 3-1 series lead.

–The Leafs and Capitals series is tied at 2 after Washington held on for a 5-4 win at Air Canada Centre.

Washington led 4-1 at one point, scoring four times in the first period.

–Devan Dubnyk made 28 saves as the Minnesota Wild avoided elimination with a 2-0 win over St. Louis.

The Blues still lead 3 games to 1.

Charlie Coyle and Martin Hanzal scored for Minnesota.
