Two Armed Robberies In Saskatoon

Police in Saskatoon are investigating a pair of armed robberies last night.

In the first robbery at about 8 pm, two women entered a business in the 2200 block of Rayner Avenue and demanded cash, but left without anything.

30 minutes later, in 2 women and a man left the scene at a business in the 900 block of Northumberland Avenue with some cash and tobacco products.

One woman was wearing sunglasses and was holding a gun, the other was holding a knife, and both were wearing dark clothing with bandanas covering their faces.

The man in the second robbery was also wearing dark clothing and a bandana covering his face.

No one was injured in either incident.
